Resident Shivuez

"I'd heard that a girl named Jennalyn took care of exotic creatures," you reply in answer to her question. "Would you happen to be her?"

Interchangeable blue-green-grey eyes narrow slightly as she gives you a second, searching look. After a minute she seems satisfied with what she saw and stands with a nod. "You'd be another visitor wanting to see the Shivuez, then. I suppose I could take you to see them if you promised to behave."

You nod happily to her requests and wait for her to brush the grass from her jeans before she lead you off across the gently sloping field. The sun is brilliant but the breeze quite comfortable, making what would have been an unpleasantly hot walk much easier. After about five minutes you come to a structure that looks like the house of an eccentric architect.

"Our home," she says with a grin, voice slightly dry. "You'll notice the interesting...style. It's so the Shivuez have better access to their own personal dens from the field. Anyway, who would you like to visit?"
